So, what are ACEOs?
ACEOs are miniature paintings that always and only measure 2.5” x 3.5”. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals, a new phenomenon born on eBay and enjoying great success. These miniature paintings are the same size as baseball trading cards, they are collected, stored in card sleeves and albums, framed in groups, and have become quite sought after.
(For a full description and history of the ACEO movement, click here, and to see a miniature in progress here.) The very best place to see nearly 400 miniatures that I have created in the last few years is in my Etsy shop. Most of the images are available for purchase as High Quality Giclee Prints here and in my Etsy Store. What is a Giclee print?
Most of the images in these galleries are available as Open Edition Giclee Prints. They are beautifully printed from my Epson printer with Archival Ink on Archival Paper with a Matte finish. The little prints are rated to last 98 years if framed behind glass or 200 years if kept in an album. Each is signed by the artist (me) and comes tucked into a clear plastic sleeve.
I carefully package these between cardboard and in a special zip bag for protection. PLEASE NOTE: any watermarks of my name DO NOT appear on your print.
